MORE ABOUTÂ ME
How IÂ Got Here
I've always loved to read. Ever since I was little, I could spend hours and hours in the same spot turning page after page of the next novel I had stumbled upon. As I got older I asked myself how I could turn this into a career; and then it hit me. Becoming a book editor in the publishing industry would allow me to work with books and authors every day all day, while still being able to pay the bills and sustain my coffee addiction.

Along with reading, I do also love to write. I like to think of my writing as concise and to the point, with some sprinkles of creative vocabulary. Essentially, just the written version of how I talk. It is these two passions that lead me to be an English major, with a minor in Print and Digital Publishing. Check out my blog page to see some of the pieces that I've written.

There is more to me than just books and words though. I took up graphic design, by taking college courses in both graphic design and print and digital publishing, and was able to showcase and publish my design work for three separate jobs during my time at Lake Forest College.
